Associate Professor Maiko Otaka
My area of specialization is child nursing. I teach methodology and oversee internships in child nursing. My research focuses on locomotory health in children: I have conducted continuous surveys on the bone and articular development of elementary and middle school-aged children. I also study the collaborative initiatives between orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, clinical laboratory technicians, sports trainers and school nurses to prevent sports injuries in children.

Assistant Professor Masayo Saito
In Japan, where the birthrate is declining, support for children and families who have experienced illness is one of the most important issues. I am researching ways to support them in their school life with the theme of fatigue after pediatric cancer treatment, which affects children's schooling, employment, and life stages.

Assistant Professor Moe Ebata
My field is pediatric nursing. I would like to think about the living conditions and the support needs of children and families who require medical care.
