Professor Masato Yoshioka
I primarily conduct lectures on human physiology. The main topics of my research are 1) enhancement of liver cell proliferation for preventing liver failure after hepatectomy, and 2) protection from ischemia-reperfusion injury in the liver. In addition, I clinically research the usefulness of image analysis for grading the malignancy of various tumors

Lecturer Midori Kaga
I conduct research on improving nursing care for patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes or patients who are in their terminal phase of life. My research focuses on how to provide care that allows patients and families to share their emotions, and on practical abilities and attitudes in nurses that allow them to practice high-quality patient care. I welcome students to join me in this research aimed at improving the quality of nursing care.
