A Greeting from the Professor

The Department of Maternity and Child Nursing focuses on nursing care of women and children, contributing to finding solutions to problems related to bearing and raising future generations. The Department of Maternity and Child Nursing consists of two specialty areas: Maternity Nursing and Child Nursing.

In the Division of Maternity Nursing, effective nursing interventions for women's health are sought and explored from the viewpoint of reproductive health/rights. Women of all generations, pregnant women, and mother of infants, are the subjects of this area.

In the Division of Child Nursing, effective nursing interventions for growth and development of babies and children are explored. Children who grow with illness or disabilities are a matter of special interests of this area.
